it's time to ball out!

So he beat me to it! I'm sitting in Jennie's living room waiting for mom to get here ... we're about to head out to Louisiana! I'm giddy! I can't believe when we get back we'll actually be married ... and I'll be turning into a South Carolina girl. Weird, huh? All worth it to become Lee's wife!

I hope you all have a Merry Christmas and a wonderful new year! We will be ringing in the new year in Jamaica!!! Yeah!!!! We'll post pictures soon!!

:)

8 more days

So 8 more days. My life has already been radically changed in just a few short months. We have come such a long way together quickly. We have had to grow and learn together in a very short time. A challenge and adventure that I would not trade the world for. Cassie is my dream come true and such an amazing person.

So everyone has been asking me if I am getting nervous. I answer that every time by saying No, not really...I am just ready to spend this life changing day with her. I mean she has already changed my life in sooo many ways it’s unbelievable. But Dec. 27th will be amazing. We will be spending the entire day together. Going around town taking pictures, loving on each other and marrying later that night. It’s going to be an amazing time. I cannot wait to see Cassie in her wedding dress. I know she is going to be absolutely BEAUTIFUL :) We have also constructed our own vows. I am really excited about that.

But I will leave you with that. Again, I am still trying this blog thing so you will have excuse me while I learn.

Tooth Fairy Please!

So, I was thinking. Does the tooth fairy bring loads of money to an adult if they lose a tooth? I mean, it only makes sense. If an adult loses a tooth, it costs money to replace ... no extras for adults! Well, this thought went through my head this morning as the receptionist at the dentist office handed me the estimate. That's right, Cassie broke her tooth last night!! "How?" you might ask. Well, it was a bite into a McDonalds cheeseburger. No, seriously! Come to find out, it looks as though this is one of the "minor" cracks that the car accident left me. Over the last few years the minor crack became less minor and last night the tooth took its last bite! It feels awesome, by the way! And they can't fix it until next Tuesday! I'm super jazzed! plbbbbbbbbbbb! My mother, the eternal optimist, reminded me that I should be thankful that this didn't happen while we were on our honeymoon and that it wasn't one of my front teeth. Although she is so right, I don't care today! I'm ill!

Anyway ... on a positive note ... no cavities!! AND I got Britney Spears new cd yesterday and I like it!! I'm really hoping her british accent, hair shaving, private showing, birdy flicking stage is over!

And that one other thing ... my sweet soon to be husband and his post! I think he's trying to butter me up for something!! Just kidding!!! He really is just sweet! One of the many reasons I love him so much!

My Cassie

So I have been thinking about this entire blog thing. Im not really a blogger but I thought I would give it a shot for my future bride :)

So incase you all do not know I have met my best friend of all time, my life long partner and roommate and my future wife. She is absolutely the most amazing person I have ever met. The best thing ever is that I get to spend the rest of my life with her. That is something I thank God for. Only He could have placed this beautiful lady in my life. Being able to spend the rest of my life by her side is something that I do not take lightly. I will show her each day how proud I am of her and how amazing she is and how much I love her and want to care for her.

We get to take a road trip this weekend to LA. I am pretty excited about it. I get to spend 24 hours in a car with my Cassie. She thinks I dont really want to go but I really cant wait :) We are going to have lots of fun. I think we get to play some games, watch some movies, talk, sing, and hangout. I think she is making some cool things to eat as well. I cant wait to see what she comes up with :) I love spending time with her and any chance I get is amazing.

I love her :)

So there is my first blog. Not much but a start.

Maybe I will talk to you all again at some point.

It's December!!!

I can't believe it's finally here! Only 26 more days before we finally say "I do!" So, I'm obviously pretty excited because it's getting closer and closer until I get to "officially" start the rest of my life with my best friend, but we are actually getting to experience it during the most amazing time of the year! I'm not sure what makes Christmas so magical ... but it just is and I am giddy that the time has finally arrived!

This coming weekend Lee and I will be heading down to Natchitoches to get our marriage license and for the first time in my entire life ... experience the Christmas Festival in the City of Lights!!! There will be pictures coming soon! Although I am way excited, I'm a little anxious about the 24+ hours we will be spending in the car! Luckily, we've borrowed the Robinson dvd player to keep us entertained through out some of those hours! So far my movie list is as such: Elf (of course!), Santa Clause The Movie, season 2 of The Office, I'm going to try to find some Home Alones (and as always, I will have Friends with me!) .... any other suggestions? You know, I'm not a huge fan of "you'll shoot your eye out" or George Bailey. So, taking any suggestions on movies or any good Christmas music that we should look into!

On that note ... I leave you with a clip of Santa Clause The Movie. This was our favorite Christmas movie growing up! We are actually using part of this soundtrack in our wedding! I love it! If you've never seen it ... go get it!!! Now, you actually have to get a couple of minutes into the clip to see the best part!! It gives me chills! I love it!

Jennie ... I hope you've been practicing some elf-control!!!

I'm usually not a follower!

I promise! However, so much has transpired in my life over the past year and I actually have news I like sharing! (Unlike the last blog that lasted .... 3 weeks?!)Not to mention the fact that I will be moving to South Carolina in less than 2 months and I figure this blog would be a great way to stay connected! And you know, all the cool people are doing it!

38 days!!! :)
